Home Office announces support for domestic abuse victims

Last week the Home Office launched a new public awareness raising campaign highlighting that help is still available if anyone is at risk of, or experiencing domestic abuse.

The campaign, under the hashtag #YouAreNotAlone, aims to reassure those affected by domestic abuse that support services remain available during this difficult time. The campaign will publicise support available such as the freephone 24 hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline – 0808 2000 247 – run by Refuge and Childline – 0800 1111 – run by NSPCC aimed specifically at children and young people looking for help and support.
